There are places that quietly become part of you—without asking, without announcing themselves.
Echoes Unseen was born in a place steeped in silence and memory: where history lingers not only in the architecture, but in the air itself.
Informed by Freud's theory of the "Das Unheimliche" and Mori's "Uncanny Valley" hypothesis, this project captures the eerie feeling evoked by lifelike yet lifeless entities, challenging perceptions of authenticity.
About
Susi Belianska is a portrait-driven visual artist whose photographs are rooted in emotional resonance and psychological depth. Her practice revolves around the inner world — the subtle gestures, silent tensions, and fleeting states of being that reveal who we are beneath the surface.
She seeks out imperfect spaces, romantic ruins, and soft light to build visual narratives where memory, femininity, and vulnerability meet. Her portraits are not about appearances, but presence — capturing moments that feel both timeless and intimate. Belianska’s background in fashion blends with a strong conceptual sensibility, giving her work a refined yet deeply human touch. With an instinctive command of light and composition, she creates images that linger — not because they shout, but because they whisper something essential.
